Let's Canting Batik!

Hello guys! It's been a while since I made my last post, isn't? So today I'm going to show to you guys about an event that has been run by my class. Eventually, this event was held on 17 March 2020. and we're targeting students from Semester 2, 4 and 5. But surprisingly, our participants was not only from students, but we also received participation from our beloved lecturers either in Tourism Management and also Halal Food Practices. On this event, we invited Bentan Batik to be our guest and gives acknowledgement to our participates. Our guest introduce herself as Kak Zu and she represents Bentan Batik for that day.

Kak Zu brief to the participate about batik process

So basically my role on that event was a multimedia person in charge, alongside with Nur Arienna and Putri Rabiatuladawiyyah. We are given a job scope that covered on making poster to inform our participates, conducting PA System for our guests and taking photos during the event held. As the participates doing their batik artwork, our guest, Kak Zu told us that just do our artwork in our way because all of the color or illustrations that we insert was an art. That quotes just makes our participates being more excited working on their artworks.

In a nutshell, this batik event had giving an impact on exploring our PMKu's students and lecturers talent in arts. A lot of beautiful artworks created. Actually this event was one of the event in our main event of PMKu's HoTour 2020 from 16-19 March 2020. But unfortunately this event doesn't going well because we involved with natural crisis of Covid-19. We're hoping that this crisis will comes to a better end since it's happening all over the world that causing many dies and just makes people scared to having a normal life as before. Till we meet again, buddies!
